Joy Turner

Joy Turner is a licensed cosmetologist and cosmetic tatooist and has been with Dr. Cherny and his team for 4 years.  Joy is a native of Minnesota and comes to Des Moines from the Minnesota St. Paul area once a month to perform cosmetic tatooing at Heartland.

She is a seasoned hairdresser and has owned her own business for 18 years.  Wanting to "branch out" and further her menu, she pursued her education in cosmetic tatooing in 2001.  Joy has been accredited in California, Texas and Florida in her pursuit of excellence in education.  She works out of Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin and North Dakota.  Joy has performed over 1,000 procedures.  She works very hard at making the client feel comfortable and pain free with as little distress as possible.

Added to the menu of eyebrows, eyeliner, eye enhancement, lip liner, full lip color, and reconstructive areola tatooing Joy also provides eyelash perms and tints which are a good follow up once the permanent make-up is completed to make you "maintenance free".
