          ARM SCULPTURE

          BILATERAL MINI BRACHIOPLASTY

          Best for patients with milder skin excess, or excess localized to

          the area just beyond the armpits; procedure done with armpit

          incisions only.

          BILATERAL LIPOSCULPTURE OF ARMS

          For those with good skin tone, usually requiring only two

          pinhole incisions around the elbow.

          BOTH

          There procedures are very amenable to being done together

          for optimal effect.

          AESTHETIC BREAST PROCEDURES IN OFFICE

          NIPPLE REDUCTION

          For the nipple that is felt to have excessive length or projection

          off the aerola.  A surprisingly straightforward method to

          telescope the excessive nipple back into the aerola.

         INVERTED NIPPLE CORRECTION

          Done through two tiny incisions at the perimeter of the nipple,

         with local anesthesia.  Note:  may interfere with breast feeding

         and does not create a very large or high nipple projection.

        AESTHETIC AREOLAR PROCEDURES

          CRESCENTIC  MASTOPEXY

          The least invasive method of mastopexy or breast lift.  The

         nipple and aerola are lifted by excision of a "crescent" of skin,

         up to one inch, above the areala with plastic closure.

          AEROLAR REDUCTION

          A donut of excessive areola is excised under local anesthesia,

         with a special closure technique.  The areolas are sometimes

         hard to reduce on a long term basis, they have a tendency to

         want to re-enlarge.  This is prevented by placement of a

         permanent biocompatible purse string suture at the time of

         surgery to hold the diameter.  This method is similiar to the

         circumareolar form of mastopexy designed by the French

         plastic surgeon, Benelli.

          AEROLAR ENLARGEMENT

         By removing a donut of skin surrounding the aerola, the

         aerolas can be somewhat enlarged.  The enlarged areola,

         unlike the reduced areola, does not have the tendency to

         relapse to its orginal state.

          LIPOSUCTION

          Many areas of the body are amenable to liposculpture using

          various methods.  Large areas or volumes do need to be done

          in an operating room under anesthesia, but smaller areas

          certainly can be done under local anesthesia.  We have

          successfully performed lipo on many areas under a pure local

          anesthesia, including neck, knees, arms, back, and smaller

          areas of the trunk.  At consultation, our ability to perform local

          anesthesia liposuction can be determined.

          UMBILICOPLASTY

          This is the most common plastic surgical procedure in the

          nation of Japan.  Reduction, conversion from external to

          internal, and repositioning procedures are available.

        AESTHETIC SURGERY OF THE GENITALIA

          FOR WOMEN:

          LABIOPLASTY

          For women with excssive volume of labia majora, which

          interferes with comfort in certain clothing and involvement in

         sports (especially bicycling).  Topical anesthesia is highly

         effective in the area and allows a suprisingly comfortable

         experience. Patients undergoing this procedure have reported

         very high satisfaction rates, and due to excellent blood supply

         in this area, healing tends to be rapid.

         FOR MEN:

         REDUCTION SCROTOPLASTY:

          For especially older men, whose scrotums have developed

          gravitational descent and comfort issues.  The scrotum is very

          amenable to tucking and lifting under local anesthesia, and  

          generally heals very rapidly and very well.
